Lemmens to Become Titan (1-17-17)
Michael Lemmens, a local product from Appleton West High School, has decided to attend UW-Oshkosh and play for its nationally known collegiate club volleyball program announced head coach Brian Schaefer.

Lemmens, a 6-1 right side hitter and setter was coached by current UW-Oshkosh assistant coach Tim Weis for the Terrors and was named honorable mention all-conference in the Fox Valley Association this past fall helping the team to the sectional finals. He currently plays for head coach Mike Oates for WVA Nightmares and is the team captain.

"Mike is one of those guys that you want in your program," said Schaefer. "He is a great teammate, hard worker and can offer us depth in two positions. He has a charismatic personality that will be perfect for our team."

Michael is the son of Todd and Deb Lemmens and will study economics and finance at UW-Oshkosh. He is also active in high school in two other sports, earning varsity letters in baseball and bowling two times.

"I love the size of the school and the proximity to my hometown," said Lemmens. "I also am in awe of the volleyball program and how they remain so successful."
