Dustin Stueck to Become a Titan (10-23-18)
Dustin Stueck, a Libero / Defensive Specialist from Winneconne, WI, has recently decided to become a Titan and join the program next Fall as part of the 2023 recruiting class, according to Head Coach Will Brydon. Dustin is the first commitment for that class and is set to join the perennial powerhouse program during the 2019-20 school year.

Dustin is a product of Winneconne High School, which unfortunately does not have its own volleyball program. Dustin has not let that discourage him, though, and has stayed involved in his high school’s women’s volleyball program by serving as the team manager for all four years. He also plays club volleyball for Wisconsin Volleyball Academy, under the direction of Jon Ellmann and B.J. Bryant, where he was most recently coached by Tom Larson and Samuel Moua.

While at UW-Oshkosh, Dustin plans to major in Business Management with a minor in Sociology. He is the son of Craig Stueck and Lisa Larson.

“I had the pleasure of working with Dustin when I served as the Varsity Girls Volleyball coach at Winneconne High School. He impressed me with his work ethic and genuine love for the game, and I always hoped I would have the chance to personally coach him,” added Coach Brydon. “With his commitment to our program, I am happy to have the opportunity to help him grow his skills at the next level, and I know he will continue to push our program to new heights with the rest of his class.”

When asked about why he chose UWO, Dustin replied, “I chose Oshkosh because I wanted to stay close to home while still getting a good education. I also chose to play at Oshkosh because I know a lot of the players / coaches and knew they had a good work ethic and team/family atmosphere, and I wanted to be a part of a winning program.”

The Titans most recently captured back-to-back-to-back NCVF Division 1 National Championships in 2014, 2015, and 2016 while securing a 3rd place finish last season at the Division 3 level. They will once again look to reclaim multiple national titles when they compete at this year’s championships, which will be held in Denver, Colorado.
