Oshkosh II Continues to Dominate (2-17-10)
The UW-Oshkosh II team continued its dominating performances in Wisconsin Volleyball Conference Division II action by manhandling UW-Whitewater II 25-16, 25-11 on Tuesday (Feb. 16) in Kolf Sports Center. UW-Oshkosh II (19-0/3-0 WVC) had eight players record two or more kills in the rout. The Titans, who have only lost one set all season, got seven kills from Nick Mueller (Fr. - Kenosha) and four from Gus Odorizzi (Jr. - Pleasant Prairie). Bob Hall (Fr. - Appleton) had 16 assists and two blocks, Jim Hall (Sr. - Appleton) added five digs and two service aces and Odorizzi provided three blocks. Matt Maciejewski (So. - Greenfield) piled up two service aces and Chris Schinner (Sr. - Mequon) had three digs and four assists. "Our guys are dying for some great competition and they will get it this weekend at Michigan State University," said head coach Brian Schaefer. "We are an elite team that typically works hard. If they continue to get better in practice we will be a tough team to beat."
