UW-Oshkosh Tops Wheaton College (2-24-15)
After a long weekend of volleyball at the Midwest Ten Conference Championship one could forgive UW-Oshkosh for having a let down against Wheaton College. That was not the case as the Titans rolled over the Thunder 25-12, 25-19, 25-14 on Monday (Feb. 23) in Kolf Sports Center.

UW-Oshkosh (20-1; 7-0 WVC) has not lost a set in Wisconsin Volleyball Conference action and maintains a half game lead over Marquette University.

Allen Grunert (So. - Muskego) led the Titans with nine kills on a .636 hitting percentage and added eight service aces and two blocks. The trio of Jake Ahnert (Sr. - Burlington), Wesley Morioka (Jr. - Chicago) and Michael Starzec (Jr. - Buffalo Grove, Ill.) each had six kills as the Titans piled up 42 and hit .548 in the match.

Tyler Range (Jr. - Kenosha) led the team with five blocks, Tyler Wiedenhoeft (Sr. - Mequon) had five digs and Travis Hudson (Jr. - Wauwatosa) dished out 25 assists, added seven kills and had four digs. Michael Wamboldt (So. - Kenosha) had four digs and Morioka tallied four blocks, including two solo stuffs.

The Titans, ranked #1 according to the latest National Collegiate Volleyball Federation Division I poll, will travel to the tough Hoosier-Illini Classic. Play starts on Saturday (Feb. 28) and concluded on Sunday (Feb. 29) in Bloomington, Indiana.
