UW-Oshkosh II Defeats UW-Whitewater and UW-Whitewater II on Same Night (2-25-17)
The UW-Oshkosh II men's volleyball team easily defeated UW-Whitewater II 25-14, 25-12, 25-13 and then went on to win a close three-set match against UW-Whitewater 23-25, 25-23, 15-12 on Friday (Feb. 24) in Whitewater.
UW-Oshkosh II (17-1), currently ranked #2 in the latest National Collegiate Volleyball Association Division III poll, was led by Mitch Lahmann (Sr. - Wauwatosa) with 10 kills and three service aces against UW-Whitewater II. Adam Landgraf (Sr. - Kenosha) dished out 30 assists and added three solo blocks, Alex Basting (So. - Franklin) compiled eight kills, five digs and two service aces and Ryan Albers (Jr. - Appleton) and Braeden Melton (Sr. - Beloit) had seven kills.
Lahmann had a huge night with 16 kills, 10 digs and three blocks to claim a double-double in the win over UW-Whitewater. Landgraf had 25 assists and eight digs, Tony Mack (Sr. - Muskego) added five kills and five digs, Sam Moua (Sr. - Appleton) scooped up nine digs and Eli Miller (So. - Burlington) added six saves.
