UW-Oshkosh Sweeps UW-River Falls (3-26-17)
The UW-Oshkosh men's volleyball team defeated UW-River Falls 25-18, 25-16, 25-15 to remain in first place in the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference on Saturday (March 25) in Oshkosh.
Travis Hudson (Sr. - Wauwatosa) led the Titans with 38 assists and added eight kills and three blocks. Brandon Schmidt (Gr. - Kaukauna) led the team with eight kills and provided three blocks and Jake Martin (So. - New Lenox, Ill.) scooped up seven digs.
Sammy Pedersen (Sr. - Muskego), Devin Hudson (So. - Wauwatosa) and Peter Nordel (Sr. - Torrance, Calif.) each had seven kills as the Titans had 46 kills in the match on a .486 hitting percentage. Tony D'Acquisto (So. - Franklin) added five kills and a team-leading six blocks and Nick Davies (Fr. - Waukesha) had four kills and five assists. Pedersen added a team-best eight digs.
